Affiliate Program Terms — Summary

Eligibility. US-based creators only at launch. International applications are paused while we set up cross-border tax + disclosure compliance.

Commission. 30% of net subscription revenue (40% at Pro tier after 10 paid conversions in 90 days), for the first 6 months of each customer’s active subscription. Commission tracked via your personalized discount code at Stripe Checkout.

Payouts. Monthly on the 15th, $50 minimum balance, via PayPal or Wise in USD. 30-day holding period to cover Bookshaper’s refund window. Earning $600+ in a calendar year triggers a Form 1099-NEC; we may request a W-9 before your first payout.

Required FTC disclosures (16 C.F.R. Part 255). You must disclose your material connection to Bookshaper clearly and conspicuously when promoting the product. Acceptable: “sponsored by Bookshaper,” “contains an affiliate link,” “#ad,” “#sponsored.” Unacceptable: vague language (“thanks,” “collab,” “sp”), disclosures buried in hashtag strings, disclosures behind a click. For videos/livestreams, the disclosure must be in the picture or stream — not only in the caption.

What you can’t do. No bidding on Bookshaper brand terms in paid search; no impersonation ads; no incentivized signups; no spam; no coupon/cashback site posts; no misrepresenting features or pricing; no cookie-stuffing.

Term & modifications. Month-to-month auto-renewal. Either party may terminate with 7 days’ notice. Bookshaper may modify these Terms with 30 days’ notice via email; continued promotion after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

Termination. Bookshaper may terminate immediately for: violating the prohibitions above, brand-damaging promotion, 12+ months of inactivity, or fraud. Earned legitimate commissions remain payable; clawed-back commissions from fraud or refunds do not.
